Terms of service

GlamRate, operated by South Legon Holdings, LLC, provides rate guidance, quoting tools and career-tracking for freelance beauty professionals. Guidance is informational. You set your own prices, you enter your own contractual terms, and you remain solely responsible for what you quote and what you agree with a client.

• You must be at least 16 and provide accurate account information.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure.
• One account per professional. Shared logins are not supported and undermine your own rate history.

A recommendation is produced only where GlamRate holds sufficient verified evidence for your exact profession, segment, rate structure and market. Where it does not, the product says so plainly rather than inventing a figure. National figures, where shown, are labelled as market context and are never presented as a local recommendation. See the methodology for how this works.

GlamRate makes no warranty that a rate will be accepted, that a market figure is current, or that following guidance will produce any particular commercial result.

A quote you issue is a record between you and your client. GlamRate stores and delivers it, and records acceptance or decline as evidence of what was agreed. GlamRate is not a party to that agreement, does not process payment for it, and does not act as your agent.

When you enter a client’s details you confirm you are entitled to do so and to have GlamRate send them a quote on your behalf.

• Do not attempt to access another user's data, quotes or market intelligence.
• Do not scrape, bulk-extract or resell GlamRate's benchmark evidence.
• Do not use the quote delivery system for unsolicited bulk email.
• Do not probe, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service or its security controls.

You keep ownership of everything you enter — your profile, quotes, jobs and outcomes. You grant GlamRate the licence needed to store, process and display that content back to you and to the clients you share a quote with. GlamRate keeps ownership of the product, its interface and its evidence base. Aggregated, anonymised contributions are only used where you have opted in.

GlamRate has one membership — Professional. Eligible new artists receive a 60-day free trial. No payment card is required to start it, and starting it does not authorise any charge. If you do not start a paid membership, paid features stop when the trial ends; your account, profile, jobs and quote records remain yours.

Paid membership is a separate purchase at $19.99/month or $199/year, in the currency and at the price shown at checkout. Monthly and annual are billing periods for the same membership, not different tiers.

Before you pay, checkout shows the membership, the billing period, the price, any applicable taxes and the recurring charge terms. When you authorise recurring billing, your membership renews automatically for the selected period until it is cancelled. The checkout confirmation and any offer terms shown to you govern the amount charged. Payments are processed by our payment provider; GlamRate does not store your full card details.

You can cancel at any time from your membership settings or the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; paid access continues through the paid-through date already shown in your account, after which the account returns to unpaid access. Cancelling a trial simply ends it — no charge was authorised.

Ending a paid membership does not delete your jobs, quotes or rate history.

Cancellation and a refund are different actions: cancelling does not itself issue a refund. Contact support about a mistaken or duplicate charge, or to request a refund; requests are assessed on the circumstances, the offer purchased and applicable law. Nothing here excludes mandatory refund, cancellation or consumer rights, and nothing here creates an automatic refund guarantee.

We will disclose a material change to membership pricing before it applies, and obtain consent where required. You may cancel before a changed renewal takes effect.

Promotional benefits — including Founding Artist standing and community or launch offers — carry their own disclosed discount, duration and eligibility conditions, shown to you before you pay. They apply only to paid periods and are never consumed by the free trial. They are not stackable: where more than one could apply, the one most favourable under the published precedence applies. When a promotional period ends, standard membership pricing applies.

GlamRate is offered on an as-available basis and parts of the market evidence base are still being built. Features may change. Where coverage is incomplete the product will say so rather than fill the gap.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, South Legon Holdings, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost bookings, lost profit or lost opportunity arising from a price you set. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may stop using GlamRate and request deletion at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or endangers other users’ data.
