Your work is yours

GlamRate holds commercially sensitive information: what you charge, who you quote, and what you win. This policy explains exactly what is stored, why it is stored, who can reach it, and what you can turn off.

Who we are

GlamRate is operated by GlamRate, United States. For any privacy question or request, write to privacy@glamrate.studio.

What we collect

  • Account data — your email address and authentication identifiers, handled by our authentication provider. We never store your password.
  • Professional profile — profession, experience, market, business details and the branding you choose to show clients on a quote.
  • Pricing activity — the answers you give in a pricing interview, the recommendation returned, and the quotes, jobs and outcomes you record.
  • Client details you enter — a client's name, company, email and phone, stored so a quote can be prepared and delivered. You are the controller of that information; we process it on your instruction.
  • Delivery records — when a quote email is sent, we record the recipient, the time and the delivery result so you can prove a quote was issued.
  • Product analytics — only if you opt in. See below.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your data, your rates, or your client list.
  • We do not use your pricing history to advertise to you or to anyone else.
  • We do not show your figures to another GlamRate user in any identifiable form.
  • We do not add your rates to the market benchmark library unless you explicitly opt in, and even then only in anonymised, aggregated form.

Product analytics

Analytics is off until you turn it on in Privacy Settings. When enabled, GlamRate records first-party product events on its own infrastructure — no third-party advertising or tracking network is used, and no cross-site profile is built.

Event payloads pass through a filter that only permits a fixed list of non-identifying fields: profession, segment, rate structure, result state, confidence, geographic scope, sample size, quote status, outcome, surface, step, and a coarse amount band such as “500–999”. Client names, emails, phone numbers, company names, quote notes, scope text, terms text, line-item labels and exact monetary figures are structurally excluded and cannot be transmitted even by mistake.

Optional benchmark contribution

You may choose to contribute your recorded outcomes to GlamRate’s market evidence base. This is off by default. If you turn it on, contributions are anonymised and aggregated before they can influence any figure, are never attributed to you, and are never shown alongside your identity. Turning it off stops future contributions immediately.

Who can see your data

Every private record is protected by database-level access rules keyed to your account, not by interface filtering. A quote you have shared is reachable only through an unguessable link, and only a hashed fingerprint of that link is stored — a database copy cannot be turned back into working client links. Client-facing quote pages are excluded from search engines and show no market intelligence.

Service providers process data strictly on our instruction: our cloud database and authentication provider, and our transactional email provider for quote delivery.

Retention

Account, profile, quote and job records are kept while your account is active so your rate history remains meaningful over your career. Delete your account and we remove your personal and business records; anonymised aggregate contributions that can no longer be linked to you may remain in the evidence base.

Your choices

  • Turn product analytics, benchmark contribution and product emails on or off at any time in Privacy Settings.
  • Request a copy of your data, or its correction or deletion, by email.
  • Withdraw a consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

Requests go to privacy@glamrate.studio and are answered within two business days wherever possible.

Children

GlamRate is a professional tool and is not directed to anyone under 16.
